Title : Store Planning Architect / Fixture Planner

Contract : Through 9 / 21 / 2026

Job Summary :

Seeking an experienced Store Planning Architect to develop fixture plans and architectural drawings for new stores, relocations, expansions, remodels, and special projects. This role ensures site-specific requirements, budgets, and design standards are met while enhancing the overall customer and associate in-store experience.

Responsibilities :

  • Design site-specific store layouts, including department adjacencies and support areas, using judgment and experience.
  • Create architectural drawings that comply with construction specifications and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with planning, design, and construction teams to ensure compliance with local building codes and timelines.
  • Troubleshoot planning and construction challenges, providing creative, practical solutions.
  • Assist in training and guiding planning associates and external consultants on prototype and store design standards.
  • Manage project data, drawings, and documentation to meet store opening schedules.

Qualifications :

  • 8+ years of experience in retail design, store planning, interior design, or architecture.
  • Proficient with REVIT and ACAD / AUTOCAD; experience with retail store or fixture layouts preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of retail store operations, building architecture, construction procedures, and codes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

    • Education :

  • Degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering Technology, Interior Design, or equivalent.
