POSITION SUMMARY :
Alma College invites applications for an Instructor / Lecturer of Accounting. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track position beginning August 2026. This position is for two years with the possibility of renewal. Teaching load will be 6-8 units as determined by college needs at the time of hire.
The college seeks a candidate who will be able to teach a wide range of courses in accounting, which may include Principles of Financial and Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Financial Accounting, Auditing and Tax. An ability to teach to the new CPA Exam standards is required as well as having strong data analytics skills. Commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts environment and evidence of effective teaching are essential. Applicants must be a licensed CPA and have a masters degree in accounting or an MBA prior to the start date.
