Technician IV, Maintenance Lyophilization
Description
Duties & Responsibilities
- Execute advanced maintenance activities, or operate and monitor complex plant support equipment, with ability to resolve complex issues or problems independently
- Maintain an up-to-date working spare parts inventory system for the equipment / systems for which the team is responsible
- Ensures "Housekeeping" activities, (i.e. keeping work areas clean, cleaning of equipment etc.) are performed routinely and all work areas are restored at the end of each shift
- Develop and maintain a detailed training program for the team in order to develop team’s knowledge in the maintenance and operations field and other areas of the plant
- All work must be completed in accordance with CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs, job plans and corporate policies.
- Develop, revise, and review SOPs or job plans / work plans for work related areas
- Perform advanced trouble shooting and detailed failure analysis to uncover root cause
- May make day-to-day work assignments to other technicians and ensure that work is executed according to the plan / schedule
- Coordinates the work of outside contractors performing projects or supplementing the work force.
- Leads cross-functional equipment improvement teams to improve equipment performance and reliability
- Demonstrate a visible & tangible commitment to HSE, Lean Principles, and the BI Vision in all work related activities
- In addition to the above, other assigned duties & projects deemed appropriate within the position scope
