Quartz is seeking two interns to join our Provider Reimbursement and Enrollment Configuration teams from June to August 2026. This paid internship will offer valuable experience and growth opportunities to prepare you for the next steps in your career.

Responsibilities
You will participate and learn important skills in real-world situations that can be applied to your career beyond the classroom to include, but not be limited to :
Health Insurance Industry Knowledge : products, regulations, competitors, recent newsProfessional Skills : communication, time management, workplace etiquetteLearn professional application and begin developing fluency in the following tools : Microsoft Office Suite, EPIC, Jira & Service NowExposure to methodologies such as Agile or KanbanPossible Tasks :Enrollment Configuration Intern :Ticket monitoring and resolutionTransferring tickets to JiraExplore tasks needed to support enrollmentExposure to different processes, requirements, system configuration, system design, process flow design, etc.Report CreationProvider Reimbursement Configuration Intern :Reading and interpreting a contractExposure to contract negotiationsExploration of pricing methodologiesReviewing processes and providing feedback on possible efficienciesLooking at claims and how benefits interact with the claimsReimbursement process between health system and a payerQualifications
Demonstrated interest in health insurance field as a possible career pathIntermediate Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to work 40 hours per week from June to August 2026Seeking a student pursuing an Associates or Bachelors degree and Graduating between May 2026 and May 2027Must live within a 3-hour radius of Madison, WI and be willing to travel to headquarters from June to AugustHardware and equipment will be provided by the company, but candidates must have access to high-speed, non-satellite Internet to successfully work from home.
