Salary Range : $40 / hr W2

This is a 6-12 month contract to hire role Introduction

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of our web-based healthcare systems. In this role, you'll design and execute both manual and automated tests to confirm deliverables meet business requirements and organizational quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong experience with manual testing, API testing, and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle. This is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scenarios for web-based healthcare systems.

Participate in development planning meetings and provide input on testing strategies.

Document test results, identify deficiencies, and track defects through resolution.

Collaborate with development and project teams to ensure deliverables align with requirements and quality goals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3-5 years of hands-on experience in a 100% manual testing role.

Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder

Proficiency in developing test plans and scenarios.

Prior experience testing web-based applications.

API testing skills using SOAPUI, Postman, or similar tools.

Solid understanding of SDLC, development methodologies, and testing techniques.

Working knowledge of SQL / Oracle databases, with ability to write queries using SELECT and JOIN statements.

Preferred Skills

Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a technical background.

Proficiency with MS Office or similar desktop applications.

Ability to work both independently and in team settings.

Comfortable adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills

Knowledge of Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and / or healthcare programs and systems.

Customer support background.

Experience testing point-of-sale (POS) systems.
