Compensation : $35 to $40 per hour
Schedule : 9 / 80 work schedule
Employment Type : Six-month contract with potential for direct hire - Full benefits available while on contract
Onsite Requirement : 100 percent onsite
Eligibility : Candidates must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Test Engineer to lead advanced debug and validation efforts for Intel-based server motherboards. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong background in hardware-level diagnostics and a passion for improving processes, driving test innovation, and collaborating across diverse technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead root-cause analysis and complex debug activities on Intel server motherboard platforms
Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and validation scripts
Collaborate with design, BIOS, firmware, and manufacturing teams to resolve product issues and improve first-pass yields
Identify and implement opportunities to enhance test efficiency and reliability through automation, tool development, or workflow optimization
Mentor junior engineers and establish quality standards in test methodology and execution
Required Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Minimum of five years of experience in hardware validation, system-level debug, or related technical roles
Strong expertise in Intel architecture, server platform features, and debug tools such as ITP, JTAG, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Perl for automation
Experience with manufacturing test flows or high-volume production environments
Knowledge of quality systems, reliability analysis, or Six Sigma processes
