Job Summary
COMPENSATION RANGE : $65k-$85k
Within our Distribution Center, this Human Resources position assists the HR and Operations teams in administering policies, programs, and practices. It provides a wide range of services and support to the organization, including recruitment, employee records, health and safety, employee relations, and employee communications.
Principle Responsibilities
Conducts recruitment activities, including assisting managers in identifying recruitment needs, sourcing candidates, and determining the final selectionMaintains employment records confidentially, timely, and accurately, including new hire paperwork, benefit forms, and change notices.Updates the HRIS for HR, Benefits, and Payroll processing and compiles reports from the database as neededConducts new hire orientation, annual benefits enrollment, and other training sessions as neededCoordinates employee relations issues to affect the prompt and appropriate resolutionMaintains weekly, monthly, and annual metricsAssists with writing communications, ensuring thorough familiarity and that they are interpreted relatively and applied consistentlyAssists with worker compensation claims management by staying in contact with claims handlers, employees, and site managementEnsures all work accidents are investigated, the injury process is followed, and OSHA reporting is maintainedDevise programs for operational improvement (i.e., recognition, morale, safety)Acts as the health and safety coordinator for the siteConducts exit interviews and completes paperwork for departing employeesAssists with the facilitation of the annual performance management processQualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or equivalent experienceMinimum three years of human resources experience, including recruitment and safety responsibilities in a warehouse / distribution or manufacturing setting preferredSolid understanding of labor laws and regulationsExperience working with highly confidential information while maintaining discretionStrong commitment to providing world-class customer serviceProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AccessAdditional Information
