Strong background in mass earthwork, grading, utilities, and civil site development. Proven leadership and team management skills. Experience with commercial, industrial, and public sector projects (Charleston Airport experience is a plus). Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Excellent communication and organizational skills. OSHA certification and strong safety record. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam). Job Description
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage field operations for civil construction projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, equipment, and materials to ensure timely and quality execution.
- Oversee mass earthwork, grading, trenching, and utility installations.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress, reporting regularly to project managers.
- Conduct daily site inspections and safety meetings.
- Resolve field issues and proactively manage risks and delays.
- Collaborate with engineers, clients, and inspectors to ensure project success.
- Maintain accurate documentation including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
