ALH Components Designer creates detailed plans for prefabricated wood products like roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall panels by converting customer blueprints into production drawings using specialized software.

Compensation : $22 - $30 hourly

Responsibilities :

Key responsibilities include ensuring designs meet company standards, accurately reflecting blueprints, and communicating with production teams, customers, and sales staff to guarantee project accuracy. The role requires a strong understanding of construction, basic math, geometry, trigonometry, and the ability to read architectural and structural plans.

Qualifications :

• Construction knowledge :  A strong understanding of basic construction principles.
• Technical skills :  Proficiency in reading architectural and structural plans.
• Math and geometry :  Competency in basic mathematics, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Software :  Experience with Alpine truss software is a plus.
• Problem-solving :  Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve design problems.
• Communication :  Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy :  Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
