Job Title : Assistant Manager – Outpatient Imaging

Location : Chico, CA

Job Type : Full-time, Permanent

Shift : Day Shift

Salary Range : $100,000 – $160,000 (DOE)

Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for Outpatient Imaging to provide leadership, staff development, and operational oversight in a busy imaging department. This role will support quality care delivery, manage daily staffing needs, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to maintain high standards of patient-centered service.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Supervise and support imaging technologists, ensuring efficient workflows and staff engagement.
  • Oversee quality assurance, safety standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage daily staffing and productivity to meet departmental goals.
  • Support program development and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and care teams.
  • Provide education and mentorship to staff and serve as a role model in professional conduct.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Diagnostic Technologist in an acute-care setting.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Current California Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) or ARRT license.
  • Current CPR certification (specialized certifications such as MRI, CT, or Nuclear Medicine preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
