The Mina Group is looking for an HR & Payroll Associate for our San Francisco office.

You will be the first point of contact for employees and play an important role in creating a positive work environment for employees in our restaurants and corporate office.

You will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payroll as well as providing support across a variety of HR related functions.

This is an excellent opportunity for a service-oriented individual to gain exposure to a wide variety of HR functions in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

This position reports to the Director, Human Resources.

What you will do, though not all inclusive :

  • Provide customer-focused support to employee questions on payroll, benefits, HR processes and general HR support Process bi-weekly payroll and off cycle checks Maintain accurate employee records in our HRIS system Support the administration of all benefit programs including open and new hire benefit enrollment, verifying the accuracy of invoices, and ensuring enrollment records are accurate and up-to-date Assist recruiting team with candidate screening and scheduling Assist with new hire onboarding in our SF office Support other HR team projects Other duties as assigned or needed What we’re looking for : 2+ years of related work experience in HR, benefits and / or payroll; experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus Strong customer service orientation; someone who enjoys solving problems and helping people get the information they need Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain confidential information Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Self-motivated learner who can proactively assess and recommend ways for us to continually improve our processes and be more efficient Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Bilingual Spanish highly desirable Restaurant experience a plus Further details on this job, including physical requirements are provided via job description.
