Our law firm is in search of a full time attorney to join our team in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Our firm has provided continuous legal services in Oak Ridge and surrounding counties for over 70 years. The firm represents established clients in many areas of law and is looking for attorneys who can immediately contribute to the team. The Firm provides a monthly salary, paid time off and payment of annual BPR fees, professional privilege tax and required CLEs. A base starting salary range has been provided but the actual starting salary will be dependent on experience.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, court hearings and jury trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and paralegals to manage caseloads.
• Communicate with clients to provide updates on case progress and answer questions.
• Performs other legal duties as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications :

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Admitted to practice law in Tennessee.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• This position requires basic computer skills, with an emphasis in Word.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Prior experience preferred but not required.
