Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Trust Specialist within LPL's wholly owned subsidiary, The Private Trust Company. The individual will be an initial contact with LPL advisors who make inquiries regarding trust services and submit new potential trust cases to PTC. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service. This role will be a key contributor to LPL advisor satisfaction and PTC's ability to generate repeat business. The individual works directly with PTC's trust consulting team in connection with the processing and review of all new PTC accounts, including those of high-net-worth clients.
Responsibilities
Handle a heavy volume of advisor inquiries and requests via phone or email and fulfill the needs of those requests with the highest standards of customer service.
Educate LPL advisors regarding PTC processes, procedures, fees and resources.
Escalate more complex inquiries to the appropriate team member when necessary.
Coordinate requests and documentation needs with financial advisors, clients, accountants and attorneys.
Assist in the submission and record keeping of new trust accounts submitted to PTC.
Ensure all internal processes regarding trust account submission are documented and followed.
Collaborate with the Middle Office during account openings.
Focus on accuracy, organization and detail.
Participating in advisor meetings as needed.
Preparation of special reports, spreadsheets and correspondence, as needed.
Reading and interpreting trust documents and other legal documents.

$19.27-$32.12 / hour Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
