Mission
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing maintenance activities to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and safety of equipment, facilities, and utilities within Stevanato Group, Fishers.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance program for all equipment and utilities within the facility.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to schedule preventive maintenance tasks, shutdowns, and equipment upgrades to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.Create detailed work plans, including labor, materials, and resources required for each maintenance activity.Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for specialized maintenance projects and services.Utilize computerized maintenance management systems / enterprise asset management (CMMS / EAM) to track maintenance activities, monitor equipment performance, and generate reports.Analyze historical maintenance data and equipment performance metrics to optimize maintenance schedules and improve reliability.Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for maintenance planning and execution.Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians and operators.Stay current with industry trends and regulatory requirements related to maintenance and facility management.Team and Resource ManagementCoordinate with maintenance technicians, operators, and external vendors to ensure the effective execution of maintenance plans.
Allocate resources efficiently to meet maintenance objectives while minimizing downtime.Reporting and MonitoringUtilize CMMS / EAM and other tools to track maintenance activities, monitor equipment performance, and generate reports.
Provide regular updates to management on maintenance activities, progress, and performance metrics.Other Requirements of Job

PPE such as Safety glasses, safety shoes, gloves, and gowning is required in designated areas.Tasks may include standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and sitting.Training RequirementsFormative path : Specialized for Facilities / Utilities
Relevant training on use of IT tools (i.e. LIMS, ERP, Office, company applications)Work EnvironmentJob is located onsite in a typical pharmaceutical-grade manufacturing environment.
Some work may be performed in an ISO-clean room environment.Ability to work in an office environment for extended periods, performing tasks such as computer work, data analysis, and meetings.Occasional visits to the manufacturing floor may be required for equipment inspections and meetings with maintenance teams.Physical CapabilityMust be able to lift 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
Physical ability to move about the facility, including walking, standing, and occasionally lifting and carrying lightweight objects.Comfortable working in an environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to manufacturing equipmentEducation, Experience, Skills & Technical Competences
Education and / or Experience
3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning or a related field within a manufacturing environmentBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is . Alternatively, a combination of relevant education and significant work experience may be accepted.Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.Skills
