System Director Of Nursing Workforce Planning & Management

Join the nationally recognized Aspirus Health System as the new System Director of Nursing Workforce Planning & Management, located in the beautiful state of Wisconsin.

The Position

  • The System Director of Nursing Workforce Planning & Management will lead the strategic planning, development, implementation, and oversight of patient care workforce initiatives across the Aspirus Health system.
  • Reporting directly to the Vice President, System Nursing Operations, this leader will work in close collaboration with Chief Nursing Officers across various business units.
  • The System Director will be expected to develop a comprehensive, multi-year workforce strategy. Additionally, they will establish and implement key metrics to meet budget and staffing goals and work to minimize agency rate reliance.
  • Ideal candidates will have previous Director-level experience in a similar setting. Strong relationship-building and communication skills will be essential, along with proficiency in project management and critical thinking.
  • This position is based in Wausau and not eligible for remote or hybrid work.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business is required.
  • At least five years of leadership experience within a multi-system healthcare environment is essential.
