Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff : Intensive Resource Special Education Teacher near Shawnee Mission, KS.

We're currently seeking a dedicated  Intensive Resource Special Education Teacher ($30-45 / hr)  to support middle school students (low incidence) near Shawnee Mission, KS.

Qualifications :

• Masters Degree preferred but Bachelors required
• Valid Kansas Teaching Licensure with Special Education Certification required
• Minimum 5 years teacher in special education preferred

Role Overview :

As an Intensive Resource Special Education Teacher, you will support serve special education students with diverse learning needs by creating inclusive and personalized educational plans that help them thrive both academically and emotionally. Services are provided in small classroom sizes with emphasis on individualized instruction. Targeted areas maybe : academic instruction, behavior interventions focused on targeted IEP goals, early intervention behavior management, positive behavior supports, social skills development, and accountability
