Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and industrial electrical work, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires a clean driving record as you will have a service van. Some on call shifts will be required. Experience with 1" rigid metal conduit needed.
Duties
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial and industrial settings.Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to ensure proper functionality.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure automated systems operate efficiently.Perform renovations involving electrical installations while adhering to safety standards.Collaborate with construction teams on-site to integrate electrical systems into new builds or renovations.Ensure compliance with NEC regulations during all electrical work performed.Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.Experience
Proven experience as an Electrician in both commercial and industrial settings is preferred.Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems is essential.Experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment related to electrical work.Knowledge of frame carpentry is a plus for renovation projects.Previous maintenance person experience can be beneficial for troubleshooting various tasks on-site.Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
