Security Guard - Tech Media Patrol Driver

As a Security Guard - Tech Media Patrol Driver in The Dalles, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate : $21.56 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Fri 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Sat 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM Sun 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to address security-related needs specific to a technology and data center environment.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
