We are currently seeking a Logistician to support operations in Charleston, SC.This is a full-time, CONUS position requiring an active DoD Top Secret Level clearance. This position may be subject to the Service Contract Labor Standards Act (SCLS) / Service Contract Act (SCA). What You’ll Do Material Management :
Coordinate and execute all aspects of material handling, including shipping, receiving, tracking, and intra-site transfers.Ensure accurate documentation and timely movement of equipment and supplies across locations. Inventory Control :
Perform regular inventory counts, manage stock levels, and issue materials in accordance with operational requirements.Maintain accountability and ensure proper storage, labeling, and tracking of assets. Inventory Systems Analysis :
Review, update, and analyze records in inventory and logistics management systems such as GCSS-MC, CMPro, or equivalent platforms to ensure data accuracy and audit readiness. Technical Proficiency in MS Office : Utilize Microsoft Office tools—particularly Excel—for inventory tracking, reporting, and data analysis.Develop spreadsheets, pivot tables, and logs to support inventory control and materials reporting. Customer Service Focus :
Provide responsive, solution-oriented support to internal and external stakeholders.Effectively communicate status updates, resolve inventory-related issues, and support operational needs in a professional manner. What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications :
Education & Experience : Seven (7) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, including : Logistics management principles, practices, and processes. At least four (4) years of experience supporting C4ISR or similar systems, including : Analyzing Engineering / Systems Management Data. Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures. Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines. Technical Expertise : Hands-on experience managing the lifecycle of materials, including coordinating shipments, receiving goods, and ensuring timely transfers across locations. Strong understanding of inventory practices, including tracking stock levels, issuing equipment, and maintaining organized, accurate records. Familiarity with logistics and asset management systems such as GCSS-MC, CMPro, or comparable platforms for monitoring and updating inventory data. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office Suite for generating reports, maintaining inventory logs, and supporting data-driven decision-making. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to provide responsive, professional support to both internal teams and external partners. Certifications : Must have a current and active DoD Top Secret security clearance. Proficient with modern IT tools and infrastructure technologies Travel & Passport Some overnight stays possible. Work Environment Compliance with vaccination and medical requirements for TDY / OCONUS roles as per Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil . Office setting : Primarily an office-based role in Charleston, SC Standard desk / computer work with flexibility for walking and movement on site Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc. May be required to travel short distances to offices / conference rooms and buildings on site.
