Job Description

The Host / Hostess is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in ensuring a warm, welcoming, and seamless dining experience. This position is responsible for greeting and seating guests, maintaining an organized floor chart, and assisting with the overall flow of service.

The Host / Hostess also supports the team by helping clear and reset tables, maintaining clean and updated menus, and assisting with preparations for special events held within the hotel.

Compensation : $11 - $16 hourly

Responsibilities :

  • Greet and welcome all guests with professionalism and warmth.
  • Manage reservations and maintain an accurate, organized floor chart.
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide initial hospitality.
  • Assist servers and support staff with clearing and resetting tables as needed.
  • Ensure menus are clean, current, and presented to guests.
  • Support preparation and setup for hotel and restaurant events.
  • Maintain a polished, professional appearance and uphold BLVD Steakhouse service standards.

Qualifications :

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset, with willingness to assist where needed.
  • Attention to detail when managing reservations, floor charts, and guest requests.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of hospitality etiquette and guest service standards.
  • Flexibility to assist with event preparation and other operational needs.
