job_description.job_card.job_descriptionOne year of related warehouse or inventory control experience High school or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and / or job-related experience may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis An Associate's degree in Materials Management, Business is preferred Preference will be given to candidates experienced with Maximo Inventory software or equivalent software programs Capital Agency Procurement Aide (CAPA) Certification preferred Maintenance and security of all warehouse materials inventories Securing, ordering, and managing incoming and outgoing shipments Establishing and monitoring processes for the issue of material, parts, and tools Ensuring all applicable safety requirements are met Providing weekly and monthly reports Completing inventory audits Managing the MAXIMO costing system Coordinating efforts with Maintenance staff Implementing, coordinating, and administering specific inventory programs Performing other duties as assigned Must possess a valid Arizona Driver's license Exerting 50-100 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs. frequently, or up to 10-20 lbs. constantly Subject to extreme temperatures, wetness / humidity, and respiratory hazards Subject to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel Conducted in both office and field environments Subject to atmospheric conditions : Fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation Only the most qualified candidates will be considered Consideration will only be given to candidates who submit online applications Candidates will be contacted primarily through email and their Workday online application profile Must pass a pre-employment background and / or fingerprint investigation as required by statute or policy, including drug and alcohol testing requirements for positions designated as safety-sensitive

This position involves the procurement of parts, supplies, and equipment, as well as the operation of the Facilities Management Department (FMD) warehouse. This is crucial for the Operations and Maintenance Division to ensure a safe and functionally stable environment for all the Maricopa County Departments we service.
As the landlord for all facilities owned by Maricopa County, the Facilities Management Department is responsible for the planning, design, construction, maintenance, and operations of more than 200 facilities comprised of over 10 million square feet. Facilities Management is made up of a collaborative team that provides and performs various functions to meet the facility-related needs of all Maricopa County Departments. Our broad range of services includes various aspects of the ongoing operations and maintenance of all County-owned facilities, management of all facility projects, and in-house design services.
