Pay : $18+ / hr

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Die Setter to join our plastic injection molding team. The Die Setter will be responsible for installing, setting up, and maintaining molds and tooling in injection molding machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality parts. This role is critical to maintaining smooth production flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change molds in injection molding machines according to production schedules
• Adjust machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time, etc.) to achieve optimal product quality
• Perform machine startups, shut-downs, and troubleshooting of molding processes
• Inspect molds and equipment for proper function and report any issues to maintenance or supervision
• Ensure all setup sheets and documentation are completed accurately
• Follow all company and OSHA safety procedures during mold changes and machine operation
• Support production operators with process adjustments and material changes as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to 5S standards
• Work closely with supervisors and quality teams to maintain production efficiency and part quality
