Job description :

We are looking for a Shop Painter / Helper for a High volume steel fabrication welding construction company with experience in Construction, fabrication shops, welding or metal manufacturing. Welding shop experience is a plus

Responsibilities :

Prepare steel and metal surfaces for finishing through grinding, buffing, sanding, and cleaning.
Mix paints to proper specifications and ensure correct application consistency.
Operate spray guns to paint columns, beams, and other fabricated metal components.
Utilize hand tools and power tools to assist with surface prep and finishing tasks.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to company quality standards.
Other duties may include : general help / labor at the job assisting with metal fabrication, cleaning, organizing.

Skills :

Experience painting steel and other metals.

MUST know how to use a spray gun.

MUST know how to mix paint prior to applying on products.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools.

$22 - $24 per hour.
