Superintendent – Traffic Control

We are hiring an experienced and motivated Superintendent to lead our Traffic Control Operations. This key leadership role oversees the daily operations of traffic control teams and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient job site execution, regulatory compliance, and team performance. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in construction operations and a proactive leadership style.
Key Responsibilities :
- Scheduling & Coordination : Ensure the scheduling of crews, coordination of equipment, and coverage across all job sites are properly executed and maintained.
- Supervision : Oversee traffic control teams, including Operators and Laborers; evaluate performance and adherence to company standards
- Quality Control : Ensure all work meets safety, equipment, and regulatory standards (including OSHA and DOT requirements)
- Leadership : Provide hands-on leadership in the field; ensure crews operate and maintain equipment properly
- Safety Oversight : Enforce proper use of PPE and adherence to all health, safety, and traffic control regulations
- Utility Awareness : Ensure proper marking and identification of underground utility locations when applicable
- Documentation & Reporting : Generate or review reports and logs detailing crew activity, incidents, and project updates
- Compliance : Uphold federal, state, local, and company policies and procedures across all operations
Qualifications :
3–5 years of experience in construction operations or traffic control managementProven leadership abilities with a solutions-oriented mindsetStrong understanding of construction warning signs, safety protocols, and job site operationsValid driver’s license requiredWillingness and ability to travelAbility to work in various weather conditions and extended shifts as neededReliable, team-oriented, and adaptable under high-pressure conditionsBenefits :
