Senior Business Analyst, Motion Pictures Monetization

Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with excellent problem-solving, business process analysis, functional design, and client relationship skills to be a member of a world-class technology team, delivering and supporting solutions for the Motion Pictures division.

The Senior Business Analyst, Motion Pictures Monetization, will lead techno-functional product workstreams and will be responsible for solving business problems by identifying and gathering business needs and requirements, designing & evaluating solutions, and helping in their implementation.

The resource will be responsible for providing operational support and ensuring the quality of the solution delivery across our Motion Pictures monetization solutions portfolio.

  • Business Relationship : Act as a translator / communicator between stakeholders and internal / external technology teams.
  • Operational Support : Triage and drive production issues to resolution with an eye on continuous improvements.
  • Technology Strategy : View the Motion Pictures business from the perspective of technology strategy.
  • Product Ownership : Own, lead, and facilitate business and solutions analysis, requirements documentation, solution design, QA, change management, and / or budget analysis.
  • Technical Ownership : Maintain responsibility and ownership of all technical obligations of the applications / systems / products assigned.
  • Mentorship : Mentor less-experienced Solution Analysts on the team to help develop their skills.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree required in areas such as Accounting / Finance, Business Administration / Operations, Business Information Systems, or Computer Science / Software Engineering.
  • High degree of drive and curiosity to learn day-to-day business operations with a view on process improvements and solution orientation.
  • Proven leader on medium to large-sized technology projects, driving functional design, problem-solving, and providing solutions.
  • High proficiency writer experienced in designing and compiling standardized software development documentation.
  • Ability to create documents / decks that tell a compelling story driving key decision-makers to a clear conclusion.
  • High proficiency with tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Miro, Project, and SharePoint / Teams Sites.
