STAT was launched as a new national media brand focused on health, medicine, and life sciences. Since then, we have grown to be the authoritative and trustworthy news media source in the industry and our all-star team of editors and reporters have won numerous journalism awards, including being named as a 2021 Pulitzer finalist.
The business of STAT is driven by advertising, paid subscriptions, and events. We are seeking a motivated, creative individual to help grow branded activations on the advertising side of the business by joining our custom content arm, STAT Brand Studio.
Job Responsibilities Combining the savvy of a marketer with the editorial style of a journalist, the Branded Content Producer will help develop and execute fresh ideas for smart, innovative content and experiences that will resonate with STAT audiences and help our advertising and sponsorship partners achieve their messaging objectives.
You will report to the Editor of STAT Brand Studio and work cross-organizationally with the marketing solutions, sales, design, product, ad operations, editorial, and events teams.
Main Responsibilities :
Conceptualize and execute custom, cross-platform marketing programs for STAT’s advertising clients.
Participate in brainstorming calls with sales, marketing solutions, and client and / or agency stakeholders.
Adhere to and reinforce STAT’s editorial style, sponsor guidelines, and quality standards.
Create and foster relationships with vendors, freelancers, and key partners to leverage for custom client programs.
Build and maintain detailed project timelines.
Proactively communicate status updates to clients and stakeholders.
Streamline operational processes and implement best practices.
Requirements An ambitious communicator with 5+ years of experience brainstorming and executing branded content and thought leadership-focused campaigns.
Creative with a portfolio of writing / multimedia work.
An exceptional project manager with extensive experience managing deadline-driven projects.
Excellent writer and editor.
Experience communicating with high-level executives, clients, and for professional B2B audiences.
Robust marketing / content experience, ideally within the life sciences and / or healthcare industries.
