Job Summary

The Senior Designer develops innovative and effective marketing creative that aligns with the AMC brand and communicates promotional messaging to drive guest engagement and conversion. This role is responsible for creating imagery and layouts for both digital and print tactics, executing creative deliverables from concept through production, and collaborating with internal and external partners to bring creative campaigns to life. The Senior Designer also participates in ideation to support film promotions and ensure all creative output reflects brand standards.

This position is based in Leawood, KS and is not eligible for relocation.

What you will be doing

Partner with Creative Director, Art Directors, and Writers to concept and execute creative tactics aligned with marketing request forms (MRFs).

Develop concepts and key visual layouts for presentation and finalize approved marketing tactics.

Facilitate the production of digital, print, and video assets with internal teams and external partners.

Review and provide creative feedback on layouts and imagery to ensure alignment with approved creative direction.

Create and maintain templates and guidelines to support AMC-owned channels.

Ensure all creative deliverables meet brand standards and channel specifications.

Collaborate in brainstorm sessions to generate ideas for film promotions and marketing campaigns.

Manage multiple creative projects while maintaining timelines and delivering high-quality output.

What we need from you

3+ years of experience in a design-driven role within an advertising agency, marketing department, or related company.

Stellar skills in Adobe Creative Cloud programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

An eye for design, a conceptual mind, and the talent to bring creative ideas to life.

Strong understanding of marketing and branding principles and their application in design.

Ability to concept, evolve, and execute within established brand guidelines.

Skilled in producing finished marketing elements for both digital and print channels.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple projects and meet deadlines.

What we also value (preferred)

Associate or bachelor’s degree in advertising, design or related degree from an art institute.

High attention to detail and a strong sense of design quality.

Experience balancing multiple projects with competing timelines.

Clear communication skills (verbal and written) to collaborate with creative leadership, internal teams, and external partners. Knowledge of UX strategy and best practices.

Minimum qualifications

3+ years of experience in a design-driven role within an advertising agency, marketing department, or related company.
