IT System Administrator III

Location : Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Union Station Area)

Schedule : 6 : 30 am – 4 : 30 pm Monday through Friday with alternating Fridays off.

Pay : up to $57 / hour DOE

About the Role

As an IT System Administrator III, you'll play a key role in supporting enterprise systems across both Windows and Linux environments. This position focuses on database, web, and application administration , ensuring reliable, secure, and optimized performance for business-critical systems.

You'll administer, maintain, and troubleshoot critical SQL Server, SharePoint, and web applications to ensure reliability, performance, and security for large-scale IT environments.

What You'll Do

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server (2012+) and SQL Server (2012+) environments
  • Support SharePoint IIS , and Apache web platforms
  • Install, upgrade, patch, and optimize systems and applications
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and document resolutions
  • Assist with disaster recovery planning , data backups, and system security
  • Collaborate with senior administrators on new projects and implementations

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • (Master's preferred)
  • 4+ years of relevant experience (2+ years with a Master's)
  • Proven hands-on experience with :
  • Microsoft Windows Server & SQL Server administration
  • SharePoint and web server configuration ( IIS Apache Tomcat
  • Data management, system testing, and security best practices
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

    • Preferred Skills & Experience

    Expert knowledge of :

  • Windows Server 2012+ SQL Server 2012+ SharePoint IIS , and Apache
  • Database and web system administration principles, data management, and integrity
  • Security best practices and layered protection methods
