Travel Telemetry Stepdown Registered Nurse - $2,050 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Cardiac Stepdown Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 27 / 2025 Duration : 12 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job ID : T4H - 914 Job Summary : The Registered Nurse provides high-quality, evidence-based care to cardiac stepdown patients using the nursing process—assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient outcomes. Care is culturally sensitive, patient-centered, and adheres to the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities : Deliver comprehensive care to patients with cardiac conditions requiring telemetry and IV titration. Monitor and interpret ECGs and cardiac rhythms accurately. Administer cardiac medications, including amiodarone, Lasix, Cardizem, dopamine, dobutamine, and milrinone. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and nursing standards. Float as needed to CVSU, Cardiopulmonary, Heart & Vascular Stepdown, Comp Med Stepdown, and Cardiology Tele Stepdown units. Requirements : Active Ohio RN License or Compact License. Minimum 2 years of recent Stepdown / Telemetry experience. Strong experience with cardiac drips and rhythm interpretation. Current BLS and ACLS (AHA). Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred). Preferred Experience : Experience with VAD, post–open heart, cardiac cath, and vascular surgery patients.
