Seeking Inspection & Packaging Associates in Englewood - Hiring Now!

Job Description :

The Production Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate labeling of finished products. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and adherence to company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The successful candidate will report to the Production Manager and / or Supervisors.

Shift & Pay :

  • First Shift : Mon-Fri, 8 AM - 4 PM, $21 / hour

Main Job Responsibilities :

  • Check for accuracy of information on all items.
  • Visually inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Properly label finished products according to company guidelines.
  • Package labeled products and prepare them for shipping.
  • Document label reconciliation accurately and completely.
  • Promote and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

    • Essential Skills :

  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read and speak English.
  • Capability to stand for long periods.
  • Strength to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
  • Skill in verifying defects in products visually and determining proper labels based on color codes.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications :

  • Experience in labeling, packaging, and inspection.

    Work Environment

    This position is based in a 503b outsourcing facility with a clean room environment. Employees must adhere to strict Standard Operating Procedures, including gowning and other clean room protocols. Work hours are 6 : 30am to 4 : 30pm Monday through Thursday for the 1st shift, and 3 : 30pm to 2 : 00am Monday through Thursday for the 2nd shift, with potential work on alternate Fridays. The environment is highly regulated, dealing with pain management products, and requires wearing a smock outside of the clean room and full gowning when inside.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $25.50 / hr.
