Security Officer - Retail Bike Patrol

As a Security Officer - Retail Bike Patrol in Sacramento, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic retail and mall environment. You will remain highly visible, interact with visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate : $21.60 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings as required.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, tenants, and staff to provide assistance and information as needed.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary, following established procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Ability to ride a bike is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
