Duties
To provide high-quality small group art classes to students of all ages, specifically childrenPlan / organize curriculum for art workshops (1 day) and small group classes (2-10 students); also interest in planning / facilitating art camps during the weekdays in the summer monthsPotentially offer one-on-one sessions for interested studentsQualifications
Interested in teachers who have experience with organizing and teaching classes and working well with small groups of children and adults.Teaching experience and / or university study is preferred. Teacher training and knowledge / experience with other art education programs welcomed.Demonstrates communication skills; ability to handle challenging situations calmly & professionally.Proven success working with students of varying age & experience levelsAbility to collaborate with other private lesson faculty & staffOrganized, independent & able to take directionPositive, motivated, flexible & easy-going dispositionDependable and consistent with appointments and student classesPreferred availability : position open immediatelySalary / compensation varies according to degree and teaching experienceSchedule varies by teacher and workload; requesting at least 1 day (Saturdays) with potential expansion to more hours if desired.Lessons are offered year-round and take place on Saturday mornings / afternoons during the school year, and during the weekdays in the summer months.Contact
