Project Manager III (Oakland)

Insight Globals Managed Service Division, Evergreen is looking for a Project Manager to sit in Sac / Bay Area California. You will be supporting one of the largest Utility companies Infrastructure groups. This is a long-term project replacing legacy infrastructure for microwave and fiber optic systems.

Responsibilities include :

1. Design Coordination

• Coordinate the Engineering of Construction Packages (one for install and one for migrations) for the project.
• Conduct or coordinate any walk-downs of the site(s) that may be necessary to create and complete the Construction Package(s) for the Project
• Communicate with other lines of business (e. g., Substation, Land, Environmental, etc.) and coordinate work prioritization among those groups
• Coordinate design approvals, battery studies, and rack / power installations with Substation Engineering and M&C teams
• Conduct and / or coordinate the Construction Package Handoff with engineer to release to the Construction Group
