Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience :

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements :

50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details :

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Unit / Facility Details : The major conditions / most frequent diagnoses treated : Adults - respiratory illnesses, stroke, other neurological conditions (such as seizure disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic back pain), gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, other infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal.

Days : 1 / 4-5 nurse patient ratio, Noc : typically 1 / 6-8

Special Requests : No Christmas time off - candidate will work Christmas

Shift & Scheduling : Weekend / Holiday Requirements : Every other weekend and every other holiday

Days : 0700-1930 and 2300-0700

Floating Requirements : As needed to like units. Aspirus Wausau, Aspirus Langlade, Aspirus Medford, and Aspirus Stanley.

9 days maximum time off

1 reference from last 3 years (Charge / Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 12 months (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
