Admore®, Inc. has been in business for over 78 years and is the largest manufacturer of premium presentation folders and related items, sold through qualified distributors and resellers across the country. We are a specialty trade only printer that is capable of offset and digital printing, foil stamping and embossing, UV coating, plastic film lamination, die-cutting, folding and gluing, as well as hand assembly and shipping all at one location in Macomb, Michigan.

Admore is searching for a reliable, dependable, punctual, and flexible individual to perform this full-time, on-site role.

Expected hours : 40 hours per week

SUMMARY :

The Building Maintenance Technician provides a safe workplace by maintaining and repairing assigned electrical wiring, plumbing fixtures, physical structures, and building equipment following company quality standards to ensure safety and accuracy. May be assigned to other departments as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Performs preventative maintenance on the equipment.

Performs repair and maintenance on building and property.

Maintains proper inventory levels of maintenance supplies.

Cleans and organizes the building maintenance storage area.

Recycle solvents and oils.

Performs preventive maintenance on material handling equipment.

Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or six months to one-year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS :

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, metric, and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY :

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :

Electrical Certification. HVAC Certification. A valid driver’s license to operate hoisting equipment.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

Experience in industrial plumbing and electrical.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock.

Requirements

Compensation

This is a full-time, hourly union position with a pay range of $21.49 - $23.09 per hour, based upon individual experience and qualifications.

  • Pay checks are issued weekly with direct deposit available
  • Overtime is paid after 8 hours
  • 9 paid holidays throughout the year
  • PTO available after 90 days (prorated for new hire based on start date)
  • Union representation after 90 days
