Eaton's AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer. This role is based in Davenport, IA.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year.

What you'll do : Position Overview :
The primary function of this position is to lead electrical / electronics development supporting design, analysis, and testing with a focus on EMI / EMC.
The individual will be responsible for leading Oxygen projects consisting of development of electrical and electronics hardware. This includes development of requirements, adherence to local and industry processes and standards, design direction, analysis, and verification. This individual will be seen as a subject matter expert within the team, taking on the most complex projects and providing oversight to projects within the Oxygen team, along with providing mentoring to fellow engineers. This role can be involved in all aspects of product engineering including new product introduction, product support, bid and proposal, and innovation.

Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering in an aerospace manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Electrical Hardware and Electronics Design
No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 70 miles of Davenport, IA to be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications :
BS Degree in Electrical Engineering
MS in engineering is desirable
10 years leading New Product Development or Research and Development projects
Experience with Eaton Mission Systems Products preferred.
Experience with PCB design and analysis preferred
Knowledge of aerospace component test methods and capabilities
Ability to interpret aerospace technical requirement and knowledge of industry standard requirements
Knowledge of standard aerospace manufacturing processes and ability to design for manufacturability
Experience with Structured Problem Solving practices including the use of Six Sigma methods.
