ABOUT THE ROLE :
We’re looking for a talented Intermediate Designer to join our studio and play a key role in both design and production across multiple projects. The ideal candidate brings strong design sensibility, solid technical skills, organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit. You will work closely with our senior team and principal to help bring ideas to life and push them through to execution.
You’ll be involved in all phases of design — from early concept development and modeling to documentation, consultant coordination, and construction administration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Participate in concept development, design studies, and presentations
Translate design concepts into detailed drawings and construction documents
Model and draft in Revit and Rhino (experience with both is ideal)
Coordinate with consultants, engineers, fabricators, and clients
Assist with project management and delivery schedules
Contribute to internal design culture, research, and office growth
Engagement with clients, consultants, and vendors in a highly professional manner
Products and specifications research
Navigating permitting and codes
Construction site visits for design and construction reviews
Working in-person with our team at our office located in Venice Beach, CA
KEY QUALIFICATIONS :
3–6 years of professional experience in architecture or design
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
Proficient in Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and basic rendering workflows– Please do not apply to this job if you do not have significant professional experience in Revit .
Strong graphic and verbal communication skills
Understanding of construction drawings and technical detailing
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing deadlines across multiple projects
A passion for architecture and a curiosity about culture, materials, and design in all forms
Is authorized to work in the U.S.A., currently lives in the U.S.A.
BONUS POINTS :
Experience with high-end residential, art spaces or hospitality projects
Interest in regenerative design, off-grid systems, or land-based master planning
Familiarity with Enscape, Lumion, and / or V-Ray
Experience working in small, collaborative studios
