Position Duties : The MiEFS program allows participants to process certain title and registration transactions onsite through a customized program via a third-party vendor. In addition to MiEFS, the Electronic Lien and Title Program implementation consists of Michigan Titles being held electronically and MDOS hosting the official evidence of ownership. This position serves as a secondary Department resource in addition to the Departmental analysts and MiEFS Technician to support the Electronic Lien and Title (ELT) Program. This position assists in providing customer service to ELT participants. Support includes, but not limited to, answering helpdesk phone calls, responding to daily emails, preparing, and maintaining documentation for ELT. Plan, develop, and conduct training for MiEFS clerical staff, vendors, or other department staff on ELT program requirements. This position will review and track statistical data specific for ELT and assist in the maintenance of CARS, eServices, and other ELT databases.
Appointment Type / Benefits : This position is Full-Time. Therefore, you would be eligible to participate in the benefits offered by the state.
Required Education and Experience : Education typically acquired through completion of high school. Experience : One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 7-level in state service. OR One year of experience performing administrative support activities equivalent to the 8-level in state service. OR One year of experience as a technician or paraprofessional equivalent to the entry level in state service. OR One year of experience as a supervisor of administrative support activities equivalent to the 9-level in state service. OR Two years of experience as a technician or paraprofessional, including one year of experience equivalent to the intermediate level in state service.
Alternate Education and Experience : Completion of two years of college may be substituted for the experience requirement. Possession of a Bachelor's degree may be substituted for the experience requirement. Possession of a Bachelor's degree and one year of job-related experience may be substituted for the experience requirement.

Vacation and Sick Leave : Eligible full-time employees receive between 15 and 35 personal days and 13 sick days per year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used. Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.
Paid Parental Leave : Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leave immediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
Paid Holidays : Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year's Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents' Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
Bonus Programs : Eligible employees with five years of service also receive annual longevity bonuses that grow as seniority increases. Some positions also may qualify for recruitment, retention, and performance bonuses or other special pay premiums.
Military Pay Differential : Employees in the guard or reserves may also qualify for supplemental pay benefits if military pay during qualifying duty is less than normal state pay. Prior military service may also allow seniority credits to accelerate eligibility for longevity bonuses and additional personal leave accrual.
