Responsibilities
- Lead teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes.
- Plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities in a safe environment.
- Work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.
- Observe children's interests and collaborate with other teachers to develop a creative, engaging curriculum.
- Communicate with parents daily, sharing children's latest adventures and achievements through various channels.
Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferredChild Development Associate (CDA) preferred1-2 years of previous experience preferredHas successfully completed state-required pre-service trainingDevelops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty membersAbility to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operationsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
