Overview

24 X 7 Information Technology Field Technician — On-site IT support professional based in Cincinnati, OH. Shift is 5 : 30pm – 5 : 30am, 3 days on, 3 days off. Pay is $20–$21 per hour. On-site in Cincinnati, OH. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• On-Site Technical Support : Travel to client locations or within an organization to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related IT issues; communicate effectively with clients or end-users and provide updates on service progress.
• Installation and Configuration : Install, configure, and set up computer systems, servers, peripherals, and software applications at client sites or within the organization.
• Hardware Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of computer hardware components including desktops, laptops, servers, and networking equipment.
• Software, Network, Account Management, and Data Backup / Recovery Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve software issues; support multiple operating systems; resolve network connectivity issues; troubleshoot peripherals; assist with user accounts, passwords, access control, data backup, and recovery.
• Security Compliance : Ensure IT systems comply with security policies and address vulnerabilities; enforce best practices.
• Documentation : Maintain service calls, configurations, and task records; complete service reports; manage inventory and equipment in the field service vehicle.
• Training and Availability : Provide basic user training; offer remote support when possible; be available for emergency service calls and respond promptly to critical issues.
• Other duties as assigned.
