Sanitation Associate

The Sanitation Specialist is tasked with sanitizing and cleaning the facility and production equipment in accordance with established procedures. This role requires a foundational understanding of the equipment and its functions, as well as basic knowledge of chemical applications for effective sanitation processes. Additionally, the ability to perform equipment tear downs is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, clean, and sanitize all manufacturing equipment as required by sanitation procedures.
  • Clean and maintain the manufacturing environment, ensuring all areas are tidy and organized.
  • Perform change-over and re-assembly of production equipment for the next day's operations.
  • Document sanitation tasks performed on a daily basis to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
  • Report any conditions or issues requiring attention to the Sanitation Team Leader.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in cleaning, janitorial, sanitation, and housekeeping.
  • Industrial cleaning experience, particularly in food production and manufacturing.
  • Mechanical aptitude and general labor skills.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with food production and manufacturing environments.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a contract to hire position based out of York, Maine.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
