• Deliver expert, compassionate care to critically ill cardiac and medical patients\n
• Identify complex clinical changes and act swiftly to stabilize and support patients\n
• Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and fellow nurses to drive the best outcomes\n
• Develop and document individualized plans of care that reflect precision and compassion\n
• Serve as an advocate for patients and families through every phase of critical illness\n
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and the Contemporary Primary Nursing Model\n
• Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives\n
• Mentor and educate new nurses, sharing knowledge and elevating team performance\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n
• Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred (or commitment to obtain within 4 years)\n
• Active RN license in the District of Columbia required (compact not accepted)\n
• Current CPR / BLS certification required within 90 days of hire\n
