The Community Liaison supports the community immersion components of the Human Dimension (HD) Course, including the Human Dimension Voices Program (HDVP). This involves partnering with medical students and community members, building connections, supporting advocacy, and providing feedback on community immersion efforts. The role serves as a contact point for community members and involves analyzing community health needs, developing relationships, and interfacing with faculty, students, and agencies.
This position is based in Nutley, NJ, with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days onsite weekly and travel across northern NJ communities.
The work hours are generally 9 : 00 am - 4 : 45 pm, with occasional early shifts starting at 8 : 00 am.
