Collections Representative

A company is looking for a Collections Representative.

Key Responsibilities

Follow up on assigned accounts to ensure high cash flow until resolution or referral to a collection agency

Contact patients, employers, insurance companies, and government agencies to expedite payments

Resolve patient complaints regarding billing and collection processes while maintaining effective relationships with various stakeholders

Required Qualifications

High School Graduate

Typically requires 2 years of experience in insurance processing, collections, or customer service

No licensure or certification required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of medical insurance billing and legal processes
