We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Memory Care Director to lead our memory care program. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality care for residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other cognitive impairments. The Memory Care Director will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible support while fostering a nurturing environment for both residents and staff.
Duties
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
- Supervise and manage staff in the memory care unit, providing training and support to ensure high standards of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to enhance resident care and well-being.
- Monitor resident health and behavior, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to memory care services.
- Oversee budgeting and financial management within the memory care department.
- Foster a positive environment that encourages social interaction and engagement among residents.
- Maintain open communication with families regarding resident progress and any concerns.
