Position Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment within the forging manufacturing facility.

Job Duties :

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on forging equipment such as presses, furnaces, cranes, compressors, and hydraulic systems to ensure continuous operation.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor the performance of machinery and equipment, identifying issues after they lead to breakdowns.
• Work closely with production teams, engineers, and other maintenance staff to coordinate and prioritize tasks.
• Make necessary adjustments to machines and equipment to maintain production quality and efficiency.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including Lockout / Tagout procedures and proper use of PPE.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance schedules, using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or other tools.
• Respond to urgent maintenance calls during regular shifts and on-call hours to reduce equipment downtime.
• Assist in installing and setting up new equipment and machinery, including calibrations and adjustments.
• All other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
