Race Engineer - Indy NXT

Overview

Juncos Hollinger Racing is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Race Engineer to lead the technical development and operation of an Indy NXT race car.

In this role, you will serve as the team lead for a particular car, working closely with the No.1 Mechanic to ensure accurate car builds and setups. Your primary responsibilities include optimizing vehicle performance by analyzing race data, adjusting car settings, and ensuring the car operates at peak performance during race and test events. Strong communication, leadership, and technical skills are critical to this role.

Responsibilities

• Race Car Optimization & Technical Development :

Lead the technical development and operation of your assigned race car.

Manage and optimize all aspects of the car's operation during race and test events.

Oversee the daily, weekly, and monthly execution of build and service schedules.

Act as the technical lead for your assigned race car, working closely with the No.1 Mechanic and other team members.

Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

Identify and report safety hazards, ensuring the team maintains a safe work environment.

Requirements

Strong background in vehicle dynamics, motorsport engineering, and race car setup.

Must be available for extensive domestic travel (approx. 100 days per year).
