What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the most senior, strategic client counsel
Consistently produce coherent strategies for clients and projects
Drive business development and support agency infrastructure
Manage, mentor, and develop staff while promoting a culture of high performance
Represent the employer and key clients at high-level industry events and conferences
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity
Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors
Extensive writing and editing experience in various print and online media
Demonstrated experience in managing comprehensive strategic communications and marketing programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic thinking into actionable plans
Experience in building, managing, and mentoring a team of communications specialists
Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills
Experience setting up measurement programs for communications activities
