Package Handler And Warehouse Agent

Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Package Handler and Warehouse Agent to join their dedicated team. As a Package Handler and Warehouse Agent, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations supporting freight handling, pallet building, and trailer unloading. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong physical stamina, effective communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location : Salt Lake City, UT

Pay Range : $20

Shift : 6 : 00AM to 2 : 30PM, Monday through Friday. Mandatory overtime may be required.

What's the Job?

  • Unload trailers efficiently and safely to ensure timely processing of freight
  • Build and move pallets and containers containing freight of varying sizes and weights
  • Assist with picking and packing orders accurately and promptly
  • Perform light janitorial tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
  • Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and wearing required safety shoes

What's Needed?

  • Ability to lift and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and over 50 lbs with assistance or appropriate equipment
  • Effective verbal communication skills in a noisy environment
  • Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks throughout the shift
  • Basic computer literacy to perform warehouse duties
  • Willingness to comply with safety and security policies, including drug screening
