job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDeliver and expect compliance of all PWM required sales and operational policies and initiatives. Set the expectation and lead by example to achieve sales and profitability through sales generation, customer service, expense control, visual presentation, and inventory management. Develop business and marketing strategies to increase store sales and profitability. Provide leadership, training and development; recruit, hire and retain strong assistant managers and sales teams, provide positive feedback and coaching, evaluate employee performance, redirect, retrain and manage performance. Ensure financial budgets are followed and monitored regularly. Control expenses through promotional and pricing compliance, loss prevention, employee retention and following general store expense budgets. Support brand marketing initiatives, local advertising and visual direction programs. Prepare and conduct mid-year, annual and any other required performance reviews. Consistent written and verbal communication with Area Manager and other departmental groups as needed regarding stores performance. Must be able to listen, inquire and receive clarification; respond with questions and execute; all within a timely manner. Complies with all company policies and procedures and ensures store team is compliant. Other duties as assigned. Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to create and analyze reports, understand financial statements and budget Effectively plan, organize, delegate, evaluate and provide feedback Effective problem solving skills Meets deadlines Understands and drives store statistical performance including, but not limited to, UPT, ADS, conversion within store Proven ability to communicate effectively with store employees, management and cross-divisionally. Excellent listening and writing skills. Strong leadership skills. Maintain calm and poised in stressful situations. Know when to partner for support. Solution orientated, bringing challenges to a positive conclusion. Identify root causes, and get beyond treating symptoms. Bachelors\' Degree and 3 years retail sales and customer service management experience preferred, or 7 years retail sales and customer service management experience in lieu of degree Must practice effective verbal and written communication skills Able to create and analyze reports / statements / budgets Must be self-motivated and able to work independent of supervision Microsoft Office including Excel, Publisher and Word Retail inventory software and order processing systems Understand the POS system and other software used by the stores Video conferencing Flexible schedule with holidays, nights and weekend shifts per scheduling guidelines. Travel may be required. Ability to communicate in fast and ever-changing environment. Physical dexterity and stamina to reach and lift to complete visual presentations and / or store set up. Ability to lift up to 40lbs. Reaching arms over head, ladder use, computer operation, continuous standing and walking, hand coordination, telephone use, speaking, reading, writing.
Overview
The Store Manager supervises, provides leadership, and is responsible for the sales and operational productivity for the Lake Arrowhead, CA Pendleton Store they supervise. This position manages all aspects of retail customer service, sales and operations, including but not limited to, hiring, scheduling, training, marketing, inventory, and store leadership. This position consistently manages an employee team of 5 FTE or more, maintains a minimum annual revenue of $2 million and participates in assigned projects that benefit the retail organization.
